Electric boilers use electricity as energy source to heat other media. Electric heating equipment with electric power of more than 50 kW in a single system is commonly used: electric heat pipe electric boilers, electromagnetic induction electric boilers and internal heat electric boilers. These conventional electric boilers have large electric capacity and high power consumption, which can replace large oil, coal and gas fired boilers.
It is suitable for hotels, schools, hospitals and factories with abundant distribution capacity, high heating speed and certain water temperature requirements. It can provide domestic hot water, heating, domestic or production process steam. Compared with other fuel boilers, electric heating boilers have obvious advantages, such as: environmental protection is beneficial, pollution-free, noise-free, pollution-free and no need to set up chimneys; small area, no need for fuel and waste residue stacking, greatly reducing capital investment; long service life; convenient heating mode, instantaneous, water storage and heat storage options.
With the development of electric power technology and equipment and the change of production process, a series of advanced and efficient technologies with electricity as energy source have replaced traditional coal-fired (oil) equipment and technology, and achieved good energy-saving and emission reduction results, which are embodied in:
(1) widely used in electric heating technology of industrial furnaces and kilns in machinery, metallurgy, building materials, chemical industry, textile industry, etc.
(2) In the field of domestic hot water or industrial steam, regenerative electric boilers (heat pump water heaters) are used instead of coal-fired and oil-fired boilers.
(3) Promoting ice storage (water) air conditioning technology in the field of central air conditioning;
(4) Promoting technologies such as electric cookers, electric vehicles and heat pumps.
